Location: Doheny
Date and Time: 11/30/2010 at 3:15 P.M.
Air/Water Temperature: 62°F/57°F
Atmospheric Conditions: Cold, sunny day with a light onshore breeze.
Ocean Condition: A little ripply because of the wind but still very calm.
Swell Size: Flat
Tide: High tide
Additional Comments: There were absolutely no waves. I know Doheny is never the biggest break but it was as flat as a lake out there. There were no people on the beach or in the water. The water was infested with seagulls. Looked like a decent day to go either paddle boarding or spear-fishing because the swell was so small.

October

Location: Doheny
Date and Time: 10/28/2010 at 3:15 P.M.
Air/Water Temperature: 82°F/67°F
Atmospheric Conditions: Sunny day with pretty much no wind
Ocean Condition: Not too choppy as a result of little wind
Swell Size: 1-2
Tide: High tide on its way to low tide.
Additional Comments: Not too much swell out there. Very few people on the beach even though the weather was nice and sunny. Tons of seagulls over the surfers. Steep grade leading into the ocean down at Middles cause a lot of backwash farther down the beach.

September

Location: Doheny
Date and Time: 9/30/2010 at 4:00 P.M.
Air/Water Temperature: 73°F/66°F
Atmospheric Conditions: Clouds began to roll in and the wind started to pick up
Ocean Condition: Becoming ripply as a result of the increase in wind
Swell Size: 1-2 occ. 3
Tide: High tide on its way to low tide.
Additional Comments: Boneyards was fairly crowded because the waves were pretty consistent for Doheny. Looked fun out there. Plenty of people on the beach enjoying the warm weather. Not too much sunshine but the air was a great temperature. I did not see any animals out in the water.
